The 2025 Survey (and an update)

As the calendar year 2025 draws to a close, I wanted to thank you all again for your readership, and to offer you a couple of opportunities to engage with things that may interest you.

First of all, readers, much like last year, I’m inviting your feedback. I have fewer questions than I did last year: for good or ill, I do seem to have settled on the internal sections for each review, for instance. But I do have several easy questions for you, one of which is an invitation to send me the titles of holiday movies you hope I’ll add to my long list of options for next year (and the years after that). It’ll only take you a couple of minutes to complete, at most, so if you’re willing to offer your thoughts, here’s the link. https://forms.gle/CPJ6hhYcEjdYMYaSA

Secondly, I wanted to share, especially for folks who may be here to catch up a little (or who are new and want to explore the site), that I’ve revamped and expanded the lists on the page entitled Lists of previous years’ film ratings. That page now contains not only a table listing every film and key rating category, but I’ve added some top 10 lists (my assessment of the highest and lowest quality ratings, as well as the movies I consider to have the highest “holiday vibes”) in case you’re just looking to see something superlative. I’ve also updated the alphabetical list of all film reviews at Films reviewed at FFTH, in case that’s a more helpful layout: the table on the ratings page is also alphabetical, but I’ve noticed that on phones and tablets the font size inside that table gets very small (I’m still troubleshooting that issue), so you may find the bullet point listing on this page easier to navigate on a small screen.
